Sediment Management

• TestAmerica, in support of private industry, provides analytical support for a nationally recognized river sediment investigation in eastern New York. The 200 mile stretch of river has been the subject of a major investigation and remediation effort addressing Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCB) contamination. TestAmerica continues to provide support to a Fortune 500 company engaged in remedial action for contaminated sediments playing a significant role by performing approximately 20,000 analyses to date for PCBs in sediment. Samples are analyzed using a modification to traditional methodology to address site-specific and matrix concerns resulting in high quality data used to make critical decisions throughout the remediation process.
