TestAmerica provides flexible benefit choices designed to suit employees' needs and the needs of their families. At TestAmerica, each employee assumes the responsibility for making important decisions regarding his or her personal well being. Our employees are eligible to receive insurance benefits, paid absences, education assistance, and retirement benefits. In addition to these benefits, employees will enjoy working in a diverse environment, which fosters personal and professional growth.

Outlined below is a brief summary of our comprehensive benefit package, available to employees in eligible classifications. To ensure a smooth transition, benefits are available to eligible TestAmerica staff on their first day of employment. 

Group Medical and Prescription Benefits

At TestAmerica, we understand that our employees have varied needs relating to medical insurance.  Therefore, we offer a variety of Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) options, administered by United Healthcare (UHC), that provide different levels of coverage. Employees share in the cost of medical benefits, which also include prescription coverage. Additionally, in some areas, we also offer Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) options for our staff. Coverage is available to all eligible employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and dependents.

Dental Benefits

Dental coverage, administered through MetLife, is also available to all eligible employees and their families.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Flexible spending accounts are offered to allow TestAmerica employees the opportunity to enjoy tax savings to help reduce costs for unreimbursed medical expenses or dependent care expenses. 

Income Protection

At no cost to eligible employees, TestAmerica provides short-term and long-term disability benefits in order to maintain a stable income in the event of disability, injury or illness. 

Life Insurance

Basic life insurance and AD&D is provided to all eligible employees by TestAmerica at no cost to our staff.  Additionally, employees may purchase optional supplemental life insurance coverage for themselves, their spouse or domestic partner, and any eligible dependents. With the many options and coverage levels available, employees can design their survivor income protection benefits to meet their specific needs.

401(k) Retirement and Savings

TestAmerica employees have the opportunity to plan for their retirement through contributions and an employer-matching percentage through our 401(k) Retirement and Savings Plan. Contributions are made on a pre-tax basis, and interest earnings are accrued with no current taxation. Our plan offers a variety of investment options through Prudential Financial.

Paid Leave

Eligible TestAmerica employees are provided paid leave benefits for vacation, illness, holidays, bereavement, and jury duty. Vacation leave benefits are calculated based on service years with the organization.

Employee Assistance Program

At no cost, every employee and their household have access to TestAmerica's Employee Assistance Program (EAP), administered by United Behavioral Health. The EAP offers a confidential resource to our staff, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for a variety of issues (i.e., personal counseling, substance abuse assistance, work/life balance consulting, day/senior care placement assistance, financial counseling, etc.).

Voluntary Benefits

In addition to the above listed comprehensive benefits, TestAmerica offers a variety of additional voluntary benefits through payroll deduction at discounted group rates:

  • Hyatt Legal Plan—For a small cost, employees have access to a network of attorneys for consultation, document preparation, and legal assistance.
  • Discounted Auto and Home Insurance—Employees can enjoy discounted group rates for auto and home insurance through MetLife.
  • Veterinary Pet Insurance—Group discounts are provided to employees for insurance on household pets.
