Pseudalert™ (MPN) or (P/A): Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Irvine Laboratory
Method Application:
This method was developed by IDEXX Laboratories, Inc., which detects Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria in water. Results can be given as Presence/Absence or Most Probable Number (MPN /100ml).
Market Application:
This method is specifically designed to test for bacteria in bottled, pool and spa-water samples. Typical industries with a demonstrated need for this analysis include municipalities, cosmetic and OTC manufacturers, wastewater treatment plants, De-ionized water system developers, hospitality and travel sectors.
Advantages:
One day Rush TAT is also with, Pseudalert™ as the method detects and provides definitive P. aeruginosa results after only 24 hour incubation. This is a reduction of 2 - 4 days compared to conventional methods. This method enables detection as low as 1 bacterial cell in 100ml of sample. Dilutions can be set up in situations where higher counts are suspected.
