Bacteriology

Alex Spears has over ten years of experience in bacteriology, with the last four years in environmental bacteriology at EMLab P&K (formerly Aerotech P&K), as a senior bacteriologist. Prior to his employment at EMLab P&K, Mr. Spears spent time in pharmaceutical microbiology and also performed five years of research and clinical bacteriology work at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine- New Bolton Center.

Mr. Spears earned a BS in Microbiology from the University of Maryland College Park, and is currently pursuing a MS in Biotechnology at the University of Maryland.
