Professional Activities

January 2006
Mr. Kaminski presented a workshop at the North American Environmental Field Conference in Tampa, FL, which provided an overview on various ground-water purging and sampling methods the advantages and disadvantages of each.

February 2006
Mr. Kaminski co-authored " Numerical Simulations to Assess the Monitoring Zone Achieved during Low-Flow Purging and Sampling" in the Ground Water Monitoring and Remediation journal. The paper addresses the question of what a low-flow sample from a typical monitoring well represents, helping clients gain regulatory approval for switching to low-flow sampling at their sites.

March 2006
Mr. Kaminski presented at the Princeton Ground Water Pollution & Hydrology course in San Francisco, CA. http://www.princeton-groundwater.com/. The course offered in the U.S. or Europe comprehensively covers all aspects of groundwater pollution and hydrology from theory to practice. For a copy of the presentation, please click here.

April 2006
Mr. Kaminski presented to more than 300 attendees, on low-flow ground water sampling, at two Maxxam Analytics Conferences in Toronto and Calgary, Canada. For a copy of the presentation, click here.

July 2006
Mr. Kaminski completed the most recent revisions to the ASTM Standard Guide D6771 on low-flow ground water sampling. This revised standard will be going back out to ballot to ASTM members this month.

August 2006
Mr. Kaminski will be participating in six seminars, on low-flow ground water sampling, in Australia and New Zealand. The seminars are sponsored by EnviroEquip, QED Environmental distributors.
