Dr. Mark Bruce

Dr. Mark Bruce, with 27 years of analytical chemistry experience, has led method development and modification projects for both organic and inorganic analyses. Examples include arsenic speciation, low-level mercury, vapor space organics, leaching, solid phase extraction, pressurized fluid extraction, supercritical fluid extraction and azeotropic distillation. He also has experience developing custom cleanup methods to address sample specific interferences.

Dr. Bruce serves as a major resource in identifying hazards associated with operations and chemicals used in the laboratory and he solves technical problems in the laboratory and develops or modifies methods as needed to meet customer requirements.

Dr. Bruce earned his BS in Chemistry at Mount Union College, OH, and his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Cincinnati, OH.
