Developing a Sustainable Pre-Drill Evaluation Program

About this webinar:

What are the components of a sustainable oil and gas analytical program? When should a program be considered and implemented? Are all programs the same for all shale plays? These questions and more will be the subject of this webinar.

Conducting a pre-drill assessment of all identified water supplies within a defined radius of a proposed well pad is the first step in implementing a sustainable oil and gas analytical program. The baseline data acquired from this assessment is the foundation for all future analytical scenarios. Regulatory Authority requirements and a solid sampling and analysis plan are necessary to support the baseline data with strong defensible data to be utilized throughout the life span of the well.

TestAmerica has assisted multiple Exploration and Production clients in developing a sustainable pre-drill sampling and analysis program to provide the baseline of conditions for reference throughout the life of the well. Such information can be invaluable when responding to inquiries concerning water quality after drilling or fracing activity has been completed.

Topics the presentation will cover:

  • Program design and scope
  • Pre-drill assessments
  • Regulatory Authority requirements
  • Sampling and Analysis plans
  • Applicable analytical methods
  • Data deliverables

Who should attend?

  • Stakeholders
  • Consultants and Engineers
  • Regulatory officials
