Corporate Technical Director, TestAmerica
Mr. McMorris has over 30 years of diversified experience in industrial chemistry, laboratory management, laboratory program development, analytical chemistry, industrial process testing and investigations, project management and custom laboratory software application development.
As one of Test America’s Corporate Technical Directors, Mr. McMorris is responsible for the development, validation and implementation of new and modified analytical methodologies; the review of routine and non-routine analytical data for validation purposes; support and investigation of instrumentation or analytical issues; and for the creation of technical documents and analytical polices that are used across the Test America network. Mr. McMorris has extensive experience with inorganic sample analysis (SW 846 and EPA methods), arsenic and selenium speciation, sequential extraction procedures, air toxics analysis (EPA TO Compendium of Air Toxic methods), and the design and development of bench scale treatment equipment and data systems to support TestAmerica’s Treatability Research Center.
Mr. McMorris received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and Environmental Science from Willamette University, Salem, Oregon in 1985
